Wishes on the Waves
For over twenty eight incredible years, our catamaran has been more than just a boat – it’s been a vessel of hope, joy and unforgettable memories. We’re honored to share that our crew has been recognized with an award for our longtime partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, celebrating our commitment helping children with critical illnesses experience the magic of the ocean.
From the very first Make-A-Wish family we welcomed aboard, we knew this was something special. There’s something special about the moment a child steps onto the deck, eyes wide with excitement, that fill the entire crew with pure gratitude. Maybe it’s the sparkle of the Hawaiian sun on the water or the thrill of spotting a pod of dolphins racing alongside us – but what we’ve learned over these years is that joy has no limits, and dreams can sail as far as the wind will take them.
Each Make-A-Wish voyage is uniquely meaningful. Some kids dream of snorkeling with sea turtles, others want to see whales or dolphins up close, and some just want to feel the ocean breeze and laugh with their families. Whatever the wish, our crew goes all in – from playing favorite songs, or even creating a “captain for a day” experience where our special guests take the helm (with a little help of course). These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
Our crews passion for safety, fun, and genuine aloha shines through on every trip. Everyone on board – from our captains to our deckhands – understands that it’s not just about a boat ride. It’s about creating memories that will last a lifetime. Many of these families face unimaginable challenges, and for a few hours out on the ocean, they get to simply be together, smiling, laughing, and soaking up the beauty of West O’ahu.
Receiving this award is a true honor, but the real reward has been the joy we see on our guests’ faces. We’re endlessly thankful to Make-A-Wish Hawaii for trusting us to be part of these special journeys, and to the families who’ve allowed us to share their stories. You’ve taught us more about courage, love, and resilience than we could ever imagine.
As we celebrate this milestone, we also look ahead with excitement. Our team remains committed to giving back to our community and continuing to make dreams come true – one wish, one wave, and one smiling family at a time.
