The 2025 Visitor Public Safety Conference sponsored by the Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association (HLTA), Visitor Aloha Society of Hawai‘i (VASH), Hawai‘i Hotel Visitor Industry Security Association (HHVISA), Hawai‘i Tourism Authority (HTA), the Waikiki Improvement Association (WIA), and the Waikiki Business Improvement District (WBID) on January 29, welcomed hoteliers, tour operators, as well as local citizens to hear about the initiatives and strides being made to keep visitors safe in the ocean, on the streets and during major weather events.
Leaders such as Senator Sharon Moriwaki, Representative State House Adrian Tam and Mufi Hanneman (HLTA President)- each expressed their passion of the importance of safety for visitors, locals and the progress that each of the programs have been making.
It was an inspiring conference, bringing together expertise and bold ideas while educating and connecting each of our corners. As I stepped away from the tight network, I thought that we too should share the ways that we as a boating company have been taking steps to ensure a safe and family-friendly boating experience so that guests can be confident that when they step on our vessels that we are doing our best to give them the safest experience on the water.
